His knowledge of the country and natural surrounding is outstanding, and his master of English made it easy to have in-depth conversation on many topics.
He is calm and controlled, which is a big plus when dealing with clients who are fatigued and altitude affected.
The management of his team of peters and caterers was seamless and the quality of food was exceptional for a mountaintop situation.

His enthusiasm was infectious and make the arduous trek very pleasant. His timing was perfect. We arrived at Machu Picchu after the horde had left and we pretty much had the place to ourselves.

Joseph went out of his way to make our experience memorable and we would highly recommend him to anyone visiting Peru.

He was the most attentive guide, We had a few moments were the trek was quite hard and he motivated us everyday. His knowledge and passion for Peru is unlike anything I have witnessed. I felt safe and supported the whole way.

One thing to note on these tours in Peru with some companies, they do not provide the Sherpas with proper hiking gear and weight restrictions . Its a hard job and its not fair on them and can effect your time on the mountain as you see them struggling daily. I saw this first hand as we passed other tour companies so I could see the comparison as Joseph provided his team with the Best hiking gear and clothing so they were equip for the long journey. You could tell they respected and trusted him. Which made me feel a lot better as they were carrying everything I needed to complete the journey in 5* style
